Catching up on the last few weeks

Well hey. It's been a few weeks since I've posted. I've been a busy girl. Hmm...looks like I left off on December 3rd. Let's see. Sunday December 5th, Warren, Joelle, Kevin and I went to see Tesla and the Scorpions (yes I had fun Joelle you silly goose). I wasn't impressed with the Scorps - but Tesla was incredible. Best of all though, Joelle had me cracking up all night. Love that girl.

Immediately after the concert, I headed into finals week (blah). I was completely exhaused by the time I finished...I felt like I was crawling over the finish line. Actually, I perked up quite nicely after finals were through :) Done on the 14th, I went into "get ready for Christmas mode". I spent a lot of time last week cleaning my house (much needed) and finishing up with shopping.

Friday the 17th, we took Kevin's employees and their spouses out to a nice dinner at Macaroni Grille. So yummy. We were boisterous and fit right in with all the other diners :) Very fun night.

Saturday the 18th, we had our new neighbors over for wine, cheese and crackers. We hit it off with them very nicely...Tyler and Erica had sleepovers at friends' houses that night, so we were left with just Jenna. After the neighbors left, Kevin, Jenna, and I played cribbage. Jenna kicked us to the curb. Made her mommy proud :)This was the day I found out that I managed to pull straight A's again. Wheeee. Three and a half years and counting :)

Monday the 20th was bunko night. Joelle invited me out for a drink beforehand, "to liven us up as well as the evening ahead". Although I had a great time, the Fat Tire made me sleepy (such a baby).

This week has been quite busy. A good busy though, considering what I'm doing doesn't involve studying hahaha. Anything but that for the moment please. I checked out a stack of novels yesterday at the library. Ahhh. I've been napping the past few days...taking hot baths, and haven't lost a book in the tub yet!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I hope to have a relaxing day with my fambly. I planned a scrummy breakfast for Christmas day. Kevin's family will come over in the afternoon for a late lunch. Hopefully, I'll be kicking my sister-in-law's butt at ping pong as well ;)
