First class mail today. A special issue of Scientific American with a letter from my dad.

"Pay close attention to the diagram on page 54. The idea here is for each country (state, city, etc) to tackle 7 of the slices shown. Different places will choose the 7 slices that are most appropriate to their circumstances. The net result though is well on the way to getting in control of carbon emissions.

Note that California just passed the strictest emission controls of any state. This is in spite of the Federal Government instead of because of it.

Take some time to read each of these articles. It will give you a very good basis for the green work you are interested in."

Sounds like a note I'd receive from a favorite teacher...and indeed, it is. He's the biggest cheerleader of my life :)
