CHANGE 5

So my little brainchild is taking off--color me unexpectedly pleased. The goal is to have the 4th graders in our school district CHANGE 5 incandescent bulbs in their homes to CFLs. I'm setting my sights on a total of 10,000 bulbs changed during a week long period in April. I've received a lot of help from Sierra Pacific and Ecos Consulting which is nice. Plus, it's going to receive media coverage :)

This morning, I attended the GreenUp! Steering Committee meeting; a committee member came up to me after the meeting and told me, "I think this project is such a great idea. We all sit here and talk about things, but this is the type of project that really makes a difference." Gosh, talk about making my day!
