Big shout out to Rebecca plz. There is this local architect I admire (stalk) from afar. Does he know he's bookmarked on my computer? Probably not. Anyway, Rebecca and I were talking about him (omg Captain Jack Hawkins) and she had the toadal inside scoop. She arranged a meeting for the three of us at his office so we could chat. Fun! After we talked for well over an hour, she gave me a personal tour of 8 on Center. Very fun. I enjoyed seeing Jack's use of industrial materials and Rebecca's fantastic cabinetry designs. Of course as interior designers, we girls ripped apart certain aspects of his designs and pointed out how very unfunctional some things were.
Well, at this point, Jack already has a hand-written thank you note from me...."plz call me so we can work on projects - i'll admire what you did fantastically right and then i can help correct the things u did wrong k? ok thx bye jack ur super cute and down to earth, ok gotta go bye sincerely famous gurl. p.s. i dig pirates."

OMG...such a fun time! I loved going into work and then leaving and then coming back hours later. And what an awesome way to spend my free time off work...with you! ;)
