The Jack Cookie
Life is fun. I had a meeting with Leslie at her house today to develop an Arts and Crafts faux concept for a fireplace surround. I showed up with the perfect shade of olive green, sooo the color of the period. So I'm explaining the effect I want, when her cutie pie son drives up. He asks if we've met (yes Aaron, on no less that 3 occasions but I didn't lead on). Cracked me up that when he got out of the car he was drinking out of a blender carafe lol. Aaron, I dig your glass plz. Back to the faux. I described a tile that Leslie could look at to see the effect I was talking about. She headed to Truckee River Tile and Stone and I headed home. She found the tile then came over to show it to me. I answered the door and she was holding what looked like a tile with a pirate painted on it. Leslie: is this what you were talking about? Me: what is it? She laughed and handed me the pirate cookie. Me: where did you get this? Leslie: Oh never you mind, I have my sources. I love her playfulness :) When she left she said, "Give the Jack cookie to Tyler." One can only dream of having their very own Jack cookie. Arrgh!
