Experiencing a good groove

I'm having a happy day. I'm warm and cozy (high R factor) - watching it snow like crazy. I feel good, I feel relaxed. I'm liking it :) Turns out Interstate 80 through the Sierras was closed all night long. There is a big-ass storm parked here. Looks like it will stay put through Sunday. It would be nice if the weather could clear out for the drive tomorrow. Methinks the conditions will be hectic and slow going. That's okay. My parents are worth the drive :)

I put up most of the Christmas decorations today (save the two Christmas trees). I hauled the big 10 foot ladder out, and after climbing to the tippy top, hoisted myself into the attic to get the boxes down. I'm super doubtful that I'll be hauling them back up ;) What an early bird on the ixnay of the season ~ but life is full of meetings and appointments next week; they are bound to come flying at me.
