Science Fair projects are just around the corner. For Erica's 6th grade project, we're planning on constructing a model of a 'Smart Green Building'. The model in 1" scale will depict 'The Ultimate Teen Room' utilizing solar energy, radiant heating, and renewable resources for finishes--such as cork and bamboo. Situated beach-side, the model will also depict building systems that protect from water, wind, ultraviolet rays, and seismic activity. Sounds involved, but it will be playtime when we get to building it. I bet it'll be a smarty house. I'll take pixx (OMG) and post them when we're done!
