Two weeks ago, I finally visited the Wynn Collection at NMA. It was nice please; fourteen pieces of exceptional work. I was standing in front of the oldest work in the collection--a self-portrait of Rembrandt, 1634--and I got all shivery.
By the time I make it to Europe, and come face to face with everything I've only seen in books, I'll be nothing more than a tear-streaming puddle on the floor.
